LINDEN LITTLE LEAGUE

TEE BALL

Our Program

Children as young as four years of age are eligible to play Little League ®, beginning with Tee Ball. Linden Little League has created a program for Tee Ball-age players (ages 4-6); and their parents or guardians, that is specifically designed to provide a foundation and introduction to baseball and softball that is grounded in fundamentals, fitness, and having fun.

Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in this division of Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

RESOURCES

A family’s Little League experience can begin when the child is four years old, by registering to play Little League Tee Ball.

All Little League® managers and coaches are volunteers, who by definition, are considered amateurs. Yet, whether coaching for the first time, or a veteran of many seasons there is always room to improve. Double-Goal Coach is someone who strives to win while achieving another, more-important goal of teaching life lessons through sports. So how can you ease your fear of losing and help develop the on-field and off-field skills of the Little Leaguers you’re coaching.
