70% Refund Registration Fees

Our 2020 Little league season had only just gotten started with Opening Day, pictures, Hit-a-thon, and one game played, on the newly constructed Tee Ball field at Glenwood, when the league took the recommendation from Little League International to suspend play until April 6, and then extended to at least May 11. The latest update from little league international is now that it is highly encouraged that each league and district adheres to the guidelines set forth by their respective state and local government and health officials in terms of public gatherings, organized youth sports, and sporting events when determining when it is safe to return to Little
League activities after May 11. With the school closures, the league does not have access to facilities for practices or games. So it is with heavy hearts, that the Linden Little League Board, has come to the decision, to cancel the 2020 regular season.

Depending on the directives of the local and state officials, Linden Little League Board will continue to look for opportunities in the summer or even into the fall, that would allow for baseball play to occur.

Although only one game had been played, the league had purchased jerseys, belts, socks, equipment, insurance, and district fees. The board would like to give a refund of 70% of the player registration fees that our families paid. We would like to give refunds by check, PayPal, or Venmo. If you would like to donate your portion of registration for a tax write off, we can provide the league tax ID number.
